Faber-Castell Goldfaber 1221 6H Vintage Pencils-

$5.25 $3.15 (In Stock)

Size: Default Title

Faber-Castell is the oldest pencil manufacturer in the world, producing their first pure graphite sticks in 1661. In 1876, Johan Faber left the family business to open his own pencil factory in Germany where he developed the Goldfaber line but the company eventually merged with the original family firm, AW Faber.  Goldfaber graphite pencils are still manufactured today but with a much less ornate barrel, these vintage beauties are from the 1940s-1950s.

Despite their age, pencils write extremely well, laying-down a smooth, crisp line. Please note, this is a harder grade of graphite so will not have the intensity of a typical, No. 2 pencil.
